[Once Dorian is next to him, Toby slowly manages to straighten the length of his body and then lie on his side. Dorian smiles, looking over at Toby, letting the vampire comb through his hair. He looks utterly besotted and finally musters up enough energy to say what he was going to say in the first place. ]

It was. [Toby's still rather pleasantly breathless from it all. Though they haven't solved any of the really important problems here, he feels pretty damn special and has put pack bond and Petrov out of his mind for now. Instead, he gets to simply revel in Dorian. All the damage on his sheets right now? That's all Dorian's fault, and Toby doesn't feel a single ounce of regret about it.

In fact, this is probably the happiest and least regretful or depressed he's felt since arriving.]

To think I just woke not long ago... [Said with a small laugh as he continues to play with Dorian's hair.] So much for getting up this evening.

His weary little smile gets a tinge of humor because again, penis joke. He's just content and at peace right now, basking in Toby's everything. ]

[A chuckle escapes him, whether he wants it to or not. Dammit. He shakes his head.]

Look what you do to me, Dorian. Honestly. [Not that he actually minds, because no really, look at him. He's still happy and pleased and finally stops petting Dorian's hair but instead caresses his face and gazes at him in wonder and bliss.]

I am. And, I see someone who's happy, contented, and relaxed. Honestly, I should do this to you more often.

[ Dorian simply smiles as Toby's hand moves to his face, giving the other man a look of pure adulation. ]

[Toby beams back at Dorian because he's right—Toby feels all of those things here and now, with Dorian.

With a small laugh,]

Yeah, maybe you should. [A wistful sigh here.] Would that we could always be just like this.

Wouldn't that be lovely? [ Dorian remarked, with a small little smile, as he further cozied up against Toby, giving the other man an exceedingly gentle smile. ]

[Humming as Dorian draws closer, Toby presses their foreheads together and wonders how he could ever have thought to be with anyone other than Dorian.]

Oh, it would be incredibly lovely. [Another quick kiss on Dorian's lips, and then a small chuckle.] You know what? Forget work and everyone else. I'm spending tonight with you, and only you.

[brushoff]

[ Dorian can't help but grin up a storm as Toby mentions that they'll be together for the evening. He can't help but lean in closer to Toby, giving him a big kiss on the lips. He's tickled pink. ]

God...that sounds wonderful.

[And so, the rest of the night is spent lying there, talking, making out... Fucking, if it so pleases them to do so again. Dorian is his whole world right now; nothing else matters. And Toby will make this last as long as he possibly can, because who knows when they'll next have an opportunity like this.]
