Oh! [Toby nods at Dorian's response.] I got it. All makes sense now.

[Though he pauses, thinking.] Huh. Is he one of the newer imPorts, was he assigned to work there, or does he quite suddenly and randomly own the place? Wait, you don't have to answer. Thinking aloud, is all. Still... He called it a "gentleman's club"?

[Like, those exact words? They weren't... quite that, not before the 18th century.]

He did, [ Dorian muses, with a frown, as the coffee maker burbles in the background. Because yeah, Toby's right. This is odd. ]

He's definitely one of the newer ones, as I haven't seen him around lately. One thing can be said for the man, he's adapting at rapid speed if he's already scouting out hires.

[Well, now that Toby has pointed those things out to Dorian, he wonders if that makes Dorian any more or less intrigued in that particular fellow imPort.]

Mm-hmm, so. What's his name, anyway? You're sure the job he's offering is actually available? [Because more than anything, he's curious as to what sort of gentleman's club Dorian's referring to. Not because he is or will be jealous... Though, all right. Yeah, Toby can be possessive, but he wants to know if he'll need a membership or something to visit Dorian at work.]

Petyr Baelish. The club won't be open until early May and I'm certainly not going to quit until I've got the paperwork officially signed, but I couldn't find any reason why he'd offer me a job that wasn't available.

[ And hey, no matter what, Dorian would swing that membership for Toby period so he could actually visit. As for the question... ]

I plan on doing a little bit of network stalking and asking around to find out more about the man.

[Petyr Baelish. Sounds like a rather clever man if he's catching up with the times so quickly. Thankfully, what Dorian says is like music to Toby's ears, and he chuckles.] I expected no less. Snoop away, dear.

[Finally, he pours himself some whiskey. The whole rest of the time, he'd been waffling about as they talked.] As for the job, I... don't think I'll really mind so long as we get the details.

[He thinks he'll feel so much better knowing what sort of place Dorian's signing up to work at. Which, he thinks, Dorian might not have put thought into. But that's just like him, isn't it?]

[ The coffee maker makes whatever sort of noise it makes to tell Dorian that the coffee's ready Grabbing some sort of tacky mug from the cabinet, Dorian starts to pour himself a drink. ]

We're definitely getting the details—I'm not going to agree to anything until after I tour the location itself. [ Dorian is too vain to work in a shithole. ] I simply wanted to gauge your interest.

Then consider me very interested.

[After all, he asks all the good questions! Anyway, he smiles before taking a sip of his drink, savouring it, and swallowing. Then, he makes a satisfied sound.]

Why, did you want me to work there, too? [He teases.]

Truth be told, I was mostly asking because it'd be a good thing to do, [ Dorian admits, taking a sip of the coffee. They're engaged, they're going to be married, you keep people informed! That's just what you do.

And then, because it'd be good to ask, ] Do you want to? Work there, that is.

[Oh, Toby looks so pleased about Dorian approaching him like this to talk about the new employment opportunity without simply jumping into the venture. That's just... so much more thoughtful than usual. It's something that makes him even more smitten with Dorian Gray.]

Perhaps. I am curious what sort of establishment it is, what positions are available, what benefits may come of it, and so on. [A beat.] I'd like to see the premises as well; do you think it's too much visiting it along with you?

It's not too much in the slightest, [ Dorian responds, with a shake of his head. He just can't help but match Toby's pleased smile with one of his own. That's just so reassuring. ] It only makes sense to have your fiancee's input before making any large decisions!

I'll give Baelish a call sometime tomorrow and see what time would be best for him.

Thank you. I look forward to it... [Here, he gazes deep into Dorian's eyes.] I love you, Dorian Gray.

[And now they can wordlessly stare deep into each other's eyes. That is, unless...]

Speaking of which, do you have work tonight? Want me to work tonight? [Or maybe he can just work on Dorian instead...]

[ There's some of that good ol'wordless staring before Toby asks a question. ]

Oh! Unfortunately, I do, but I don't have to go in for another five hours or so. I'm sure we can find something to do to pass that time.

[ Whether it's just plain ol'sex or Dorian bothering Toby while he works, it's up in the air. ]

At least five hours. [Toby sips his drink.] That's plenty of time before work.

[He lifts a hand to caress Dorian's face and brushes his thumb over his lover's lips.]

How about... we finish our drinks, and then fool around for a bit?

[ One hand's still holding his coffee, but with his other hand, Dorian wraps it around Toby's waist and pulls him in closer. ]

Fooling around sounds like wonderful way to pass the time. And honestly? I'm certain it will wake me up faster than the caffeine.

[As Dorian slips his hand around Toby's waist, a smile plays across his lips. He sets his glass down on the table and slides along as Dorian tugs him. Caressing Dorian's face, Toby brushes the backs of his fingers on Dorian's cheeks before trailing them to just below his ear. Letting out a pleased little laugh, Toby leans his head against Dorian's before pressing a soft kiss just at the corner of his mouth.

In a low, sultry voice,] Certainly has a way of getting the blood flowing.

You'd like that, wouldn't you? [ Dorian responds, with a teasing little smirk, as he sets his drink down on the counter, using his other hand to grab Toby's ass, first hand still circled around his waist.

Apparently they've skipped finishing our drinks and are went straight to fooling around. ]

[Toby hadn't exactly planned on completely abandoning his drink! But he's pretty comfortable right now and lets out a gasp when his lover grabs his bottom.]

It's that obvious, is it? [With a little laugh,] You've got me all urgent and impatient now!

[Shaking his ass in Dorian's hands, Toby straddles Dorian and seats himself on his lover's lap. He gives Dorian a long, deep kiss.]

Just the way I like you, [ Dorian purrs, as he moves his arms to hold onto Toby better, as the vampire straddles him.

Dorian leans in, reciprocating that deep, long, kiss, holding Toby close to him as he just basks in the vampire's presence. ]

[Toby's hands go behind Dorian's head, one running through his hair while the other holds him close as they continue kissing. It's some time before they break the kiss.]

Your room, or mine? [He is so ready to pull back and then whisk Dorian away for a good time.]

Mmm, let's go with your room. [ Dorian too is just so ready for a good time.

He moves his hands away from Toby, so that he can get up more easily. That being said, Dorian bends in to give Toby a quick kiss before moving away entirely. ]

[After nodding at Dorian's answer, Toby returns the kiss before moving to stand and take Dorian by the hand before leading his lover to his room. Doing so, he feels the ring on Dorian's finger and yearns for the time when Dorian will place one on his. But in the meanwhile, he'll settle for wonderful moments like this, when they simply revel in one another.

Once they're in his room, he all but tosses Dorian onto the bed. Though rather than lay him down, he seats his lover upright before beginning to make out with him again. The reason for this becomes particularly obvious when Toby slowly sets to work removing Dorian's shirt.]

[ Dorian can't help but laugh a little as Toby practically tosses him on the bed. And hello there, of course Toby was taking off his shirt. He keeps his hands out of the way as Toby starts to take his shirt off, simply leaning in to keep making out with Toby.

...of course, as Toby goes to fiddle with his shirt, Dorian's hands go downwards to fiddle with Toby's trousers, attempting to get those off as well. ]

[The feeling of Dorian's hands moving to tease him out of his trousers is all the encouragement Toby needs to hurriedly slip his lover out of his shirt, drawing away from their kiss only briefly as he does so. He then slides his hands down Dorian's sides, massaging small circles into them as they work their way back up. Once his hands finish their trip back up, he gently takes hold of Dorian's shoulders and slowly eases him back onto the bed.]

[ As he's laid back onto the bed, Dorian looks up at Toby, a look of pure love and adulation on his face. God, he loves this man. His hands reach back to Toby's waist as he shimmies down his trousers and his underwear, trying to push them as far down as he can muster, while still getting held down by Toby. ]

[So Toby allows Dorian to have at his trousers and pants until Dorian can't get them down any further. Moving to lean over Dorian, Toby pushes his clothing further down before kicking it off entirely. Then he focuses on Dorian, trailing kisses down his lover's neck and collarbone while his own hands set about removing Dorian's trousers.]
