[ So they've just woken up which means like it's 7pm for these boys. Dorian's making some coffee (because oh how he needs that caffeine) when he starts up conversation with Toby. ]

So I've been offered a job at a new business. Bartending at a gentleman's club, opening early May. [ This is what soon-to-be-married people do, they talk to each other about potential job offers, right? Right! ] The pay's better and the hours are more flexible, I just wanted to get your opinion before I sign the dotted line.

[ After all that nonsense with Billy changing people...and the wedding ruined by changed people + hissyfits...and probably some other nonsense, let's be real, Dorian is in their kitchen making a BIGASS GLASS OF WINE. Like, this is him pouring a shit-ton of wine into a large plastic cup, fuck being classy, he's just so tired of this nonsense.

So, as he spots Toby, Dorian just looks over, perfectly aware that he looks like a huge wino and a massive trainwreck right now...and just keeps pouring. ]

Shall I pour you a glass as well? [ said in a tone that perfectly implies "fuck this week." ]

[ A gift basket arrives early morning addressed to Toby, comprising of only wine and stuffed with a few classy flowers where the food would have originally gone. He isn't sure if Toby can eat regular food, given his condition -- so it's best to err on the side of caution. But the basket also comes with a package full of fancy accessories to accompany the wine.

Attached to the basket itself is an envelope sealed with a wax mockingbird sigil. The letter inside is penned in fancy cursive. ]

It was a pleasure getting the chance to speak with you over the network. You are quite the charming gentleman, and it is no surprise to me why you would make Dorian as happy as you do. While it is unfortunate your wedding had to be postponed, I still greatly look forward to attending your future ceremony.

Please do consider supporting Queen Lucy and I in this upcoming election. It would mean a great deal to have your vote. And in the meantime, I do hope you enjoy this gift. When you pour your first drink, may it be in celebration of the timeless love you and Dorian share.

[Tobias might be at work or home when the invitation comes. But rather than any regular ol' mail handler, this one is a little different. The doorbell rings, or a slow, insistent knock lets out. Whenever Tobias does answer, he will find dear Sally standing before him, a knowing smile on blood red lips. She holds out a golden envelope with Tobias' name handwritten in careful, precise lettering, handing it over with that smile still in place.

And with that she turns, leaving Tobias with his invite. By the time he looks at what's in hand and back up to say something to Sally, though, she's vanished, leaving only the scent of cigarettes in her wake.]
